I like holidays. So as an atheist and secular humanist I celebrate Winter Solstice. It fits in with the culture I live in. It's a time to get together with family and friends, take time off work, and exchange gifts. In the Northern hemisphere, it's the time of year with the shortest daylight and so deserves a celebration to lift our spirits.
